U11's Win the Plate at the County Championships

The Flying Foxes won the Plate competition at this years County Championships after playing four games of rugby and ending the day unbeaten and without conceding any points. A squad of 20 players entered the competition hosted by Novocastrians and four of these players unselfishly teamed up with players from other clubs to form a Babarians team.

Park v Driffield & Blyth U11's

The Flying Foxes entertained both Blyth and Driffield at Preston Avenue on the first dry and sunny morning in memory!
Touring side Driffield had played Morpeth the previous day and after the Park and Blyth games were heading off to watch the Falcons.

U11's miss out at the Land Rover Cup

A well organised Land Rover Cup was held on Sunday with teams competing to represent the Newcastle Falcons at Twickenham for the Guiness Premiership final. The Flying Foxes were drawn in a group that included our old rivals Northern and although they couldn't progress from the group stages they only conceded two tries in four games.

Ponteland, Alnwick and Novos visit Preston Avenue

The Flying Foxes took full advantage of that rare thing - rugby on a Sunday morning and invited three teams to Park. A full mornings rugby saw the the U11's remain unbeaten in the face of some spirited opposition.

Flying Foxes Spring Into Action

Flying Foxes host Ashington, North Shields and Rockcliff

After what seems like months without a game the Flying Foxes played three games against Ashington and local rivals North Shields and Rockcliff and the lads were on form. The games gave the coaches an opportunity to look at a couple positional changes and the Foxes relished the chance to actually play some rugby after the weather enforced break. Three wins from three sealed a great morning of rugby.
