County Cup - U7 to U12 Competitions

As we all know the County Cup, Plate and Vase/Bowl competitions are being held this weekend - please read the following message from Claire Sharpe from NRU:

Message from Claire reads:

I realise that this is very short notice for you however, following a chance discussion this morning with the Mel Magee (Falcons Community) and Christine Balford (new commercial director at the Falcons), a package has been put together for every age group – every team taking part in the U7-U12 competitions this Sunday.

Every child taking part on Sunday will have the chance to purchase reduced price tickets for the Falcons game against Cardiff on the 11th April.

The winners of each age group (+ two coaches) are being given complimentary tickets for the Falcons v Cardiff on the 11th April and the opportunity to be re presented with trophies at half time (on the first team pitch, with Falcons players – photos taken by the Falcons).

Letters for the above have been drafted and will be with the organising club by Sunday.   The letter for reduced price tickets will also be e-mailed round everyone on Monday.

In addition, we also now have ……

MEDALS!

I realise that some of you have managed to get some sponsorship sorted out, but if you have not, the Falcons have very kindly sponsored medals for the winners and runners up of each age group.  As this package has been put together today, the medals wont be ready until Saturday morning, however, things are in hand to get these to you should you need them.  If you don’t need medals as you have been able to source them yourselves, can you please let me know.

As at 4.45pm, we are now sorting out boxes for all the host age groups – the boxes will contain – medals, letter for winners, letters for all participants, Plates for each age group and Cups where needed.

In addition to all of this, Falcons players will also be making an appearance at all the host clubs – the players will be with you for around 45 minutes to an hour and will sign autographs, pose for pics etc etc.   At the moment I don’t know who the players are – this will be sorted out tomorrow with Steve Bates.

County Representatives will be at each host venue on Sunday – Andy Thomson, County President has asked members of the host clubs to represent him and present trophies

As I say, sorry for the short notice, however everything has been pulled together in the last few hours.

I hope all this makes sense and that everyone has a fantastic day on Sunday.

With kindest regards

Claire
