Percy Park presents the "P" Factor

The kids Chrimbo bash is Sunday 20th with doors opening at 12.00 noon with the main event kicking off at 1.00pm

As usual the kids will be giving a range of high calibre performances in the style of Joe, the winner of the less popular X Factor, and the coaches will unfortunately be raising their game to Jedward standards.

The club shop will be open for last minutes purchases.

If this is your first P Factor then you're in for a real treat, if you've been before then you know what to expect.....

U11's v Gateshead

E-mail Print PDF
Sunday, 23nd November, 2009

Gateshead U11's 5, Percy Park U11's 7.

Park maintained their 100 per cent record in a game that was finally resolved with its last kick.

Playing against opposition that included a number of "on loan" members of their own squad, Park squandered chances to put points on the board including one clear cut opportunity when a three man overlap was ignored in favour of a held up solo effort. Park eventually took the lead in the second half when Alex bulldozed over from short range. The resultant successfull conversion from the boot of Will proved to be the deciding moment of the match.

Park soaked up wave after wave of Gateshead pressure as the game neared its conclusion and it was no surprise that the home side broke through the black and white's defensive line for a touchdown. Some interesting refereeing decisions and a very narrow pitch added to the spirit of the game.

Fortunately for Park, who were forced due to absences to play a number of players out of position, the conversion attempt failed when the ball struck the bar and rebounded back into play.

Special thanks to the lads who played for Gateshead.
