Rain stops play

It's Friday lunchtime and the pitches are flooded already so if anyone was intending to train this Sunday then you need to find an alternative venue - see you on the beach? We should only have training or away fixtures so hopefully this doesn't cause too many problems.

All pitches are out of bounds for the weekend and ALL games have been postponed.

Pitches for Sunday 21st

We have had a pitch inspection Friday afternoon and although the pitches are in a bit of a state we have decided to try and get the games played this weekend. The only way we can accomodate all the games is follows:

U7 and U8's are travelling to Ponteland (thanks!) which frees up some space.

U9 and U10 will play on the King Edwards field over the road

U11 and U12 will play on the 3rd team pitch.

There is an U14 game that will take one of the Kings pitches. The other Kings pitch and the 2nd team pitch are out of bounds.

Can all coaches, team managers and parents please take note of the following: under no circumstances should any spectator be on the pitches at any time, they must stay outside of the full size pitch boundaries. This will go a long way to saving the pitches from further damage. We have three senior games on Saturday, plus Junior and Mini fixtures, so the more we can do to protect the playing areas then the more games we will have.
